Come to think of it, Leonzio might not know that Detlinde intends to elevate one of her closer relatives to Aub, once she's Queen, so he might think that Letizia is going to be the future Aub Ahrensbach, even if his plan succeeds.

But that still begs the question, rather than throwing one of her usual tantrums, is actively inviting Letizia to get buttered up by her sweetheart.

I would love it, if his plan is to make Detlinde queen, marry her, use his new position to copy her Grutrissheit and then have her suffer a tragic accident, after which he mournfully takes the place of his wife, as the Zent, complete with Grutrissheit.

I also can't help but wonder, if Georgine truly lost her ability to reign Detlinde in, or if that's just a very convincing show, primarily for Ferdinand's benefit and she's actually fully part of whatever Leonzio is doing (or more likely the other way around).

I'd also like to know if Martina is still her retainer, or if she's one of the "sensible" ones that got fired over daring to try to keep Detlinde away from her own doom. I'm not particualrly sympathetic toward her, but I think Aurelia would be sad, if her sister were to come to harm (which she most likely will, if she's still Detlinde's retainer when things inevitably go boom).
