XMPP and Matrix are already there. A large tree grows from a green platform labeled “ActivityPub + more”. ActivityPub is a protocol for communicating between different applications in the Fediverse. For XMPP and ActivityPub it already exists as part of the Libervia project.

It would be great to be able any of these clients with any of these servers and that all users could talk to each other
