Video game news oriented community. No NanoUFO is not a bot :)

So, you're welcome to your opinion. But it's definitely the minority. Long story short, there's plenty of reason to prefer X.

As a game in and of itself, the gameplay is far superior. IX is slow as hell and makes me want to not want to replay the game.

The majority of the previous games are linear, especially when you're just following the story. X had just as many branches to explore. They just didn't have the overworld.

If we're talking impact on the franchise.

XII and XV are two of the most open world games we've had and they came after X. XVI also has plenty to explore. And this is ignoring the two MMOs. It seems like your problem is with XIII.

Also they've always been the best looking games in the market.
