Is it illegal to rip a game that you own onto a device that you own? My understanding is that's 100% legal, not gray area at all. The only issue would be if you distributed it.

I don't think that's true with how much support they give to their first party titles. I mean, their console exclusives are top-tier.
Another good one. I'll include it.
I included Fall Guys because I liked it. I included Fortnite because it's one of the most popular games ever made. It would be weird not to include it.
Good call! I can't believe I forgot that one!

It's related to their ability to earn a living sinking 3-pointers.
If we don't include backwards compatibility, PS1 easily. So many iconic and underrated RPGs from that time. If we do count BC, it would either be PS2 or PS3 by technicality.
Do you have a lot of UMD games? I got a PSTV (the Vita console), hacked it to use expanded memory (just follow the steps you can find online), and repurchased most of my physical catalog digitally. I think a lot of those games are locked at $10 since the store can no longer receive updates.
I still have my 1000 for physical. But even then, Vita incompatible games like Crisis Core and Spyro (for some reason the PS1 game isn't compatible with Vita) are available on my PS5.
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection is 6 of the 9 games.
I'm a lot more interested in this game now.
So you're saying, because it would rip straight to another cartridge, it could be argued it's streamlining distribution?
I would hope that a court would see through that argument. There's a pretty good track record of allowing personal use of personal property. But I wouldn't be surprised either if they convinced a court that this was explicitly for distribution purposes.
