UK version was so much more grounded, recommend it if you can find it.

Edit: hang on hells kitchen is the competition one. I'm thinking of Kitchen Nightmares

Either way.

It's been proven he only overreacts like that on the American shows because Americans love rage bait

American here, I hate the rage bait aspect of American shows.

Same. Even though I catch myself falling for it sometimes.

It sucks living in a country that lives off knee jerk reactions 😮‍💨

I can't be in the room when my wife watches "reality" TV because I point out every time they make it obviously staged.

My favorite was when one show presented a couple who had just gotten together in person and the SAME WEEK someone "gets pregnant" and shows pregnancy tests. I pointed out there isn't any possible way to know after one week, she started to argue about how "some people just know" then stopped because there was still a positive pregnancy test on screen in her hand.

In quite a few shots you can see a clear, fresh line where a wedding ring would normally sit if they hadn't taken it off for filming.

My all time favorite is miraculously tucking and untucking shirts. They're so obvious, but easy to miss.

When in Rome...

I so much prefer the UK version because he jokes around with people and talks to them like a normal person. On the US version it is all for drama and they are obsessed with people yelling and acting out.
