You can put ! [] (link) without the spaces for imbedding the image like so

You need to put parentheses around the link and square brackets before. The format is ! [Alt text description here] (Link here)

Edit, wait is that what you did for the bottom one? It's just showing up as a missing image for me. I don't know why the sync app would effect that though.

Ok that worked! Needs both brackets and parens. 'view markdown' would have been helpful, dear Sync.
