A gaming sub free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

I started a new Starsector Run with new Mods. Still in the Stage where my colonies are running a defecit and i have to make credits exploring and Bounty hunting

How is the learning curve on the game? I've been seeing some streamers play it over the past few months and it looks interesting.

Learning curve for the base game is fine in my opinion. I finished one vanilla campaign playthrough and jumped into Mods afterwards. I would recommend starting with just some utility mods and one you got the hang of it add complexity via mods like nexerelin.

Chances are high that I'll probably play the same way as you when I dive in. I usually don't like to grab utility mods until I have a good sense of how the core systems work without them.

I've been wanting to try the game for a while but I'm always hesitant about any EA title. It seems like they've got most of the game put in place though as far as I can tell so it might just be time to take the plunge!
