If Rozemyne's group is actually going to come through the teleporter in the country gate, that's fantastic news for Letizia. Because that means that if the ship is leaving early, it'll run straight into the attack group and probably will be captured and turned back... or maybe, the strike group can even use the captured ship and the crew's silver clothes, to make an even more surprising surprise attack, since they can masquerade as Lanzenave reinforcement. Sure the deception will not last long, but it'll get them at least a little closer than flying in over the open ocean on their highbeasts.
But that's more of an expectation for the book as a whole. I expect that the prologue will be from Sylvester's POV and first show his negotiations with the royals, followed by a meeting with Eckhart and Justus. And once we've in Rozemyne's head again, I expect to fist get a chapter of preparations, with the actual attack only being launched in pre-pub part 2.
Yep, I think you're correct. Probably a Sylvester prologue and more prep work before the invasion. I'd like it for them to at least make it to Ahrensbach, but we'll see. I'm wondering how many knights will show up from Dunkelfelger. I get the feeling that most would really like to join. Heisshitze will most likely be there unless he has to go to the Sovereignty as the knight commander. Maybe Lestilaut or Hannelore will be there too.
I would expect Hannelore to at least come to the Royal Academy, to see the attackers off and be part of the pre-fight... erm I mean pre-"ditter" ritual prayer dance. ^^ But I have a feeling that Sieglinde will not allow her to join the actual attack force, or that Hannelore would want to in the first place. Now Lestilaut on the other hand... he might well want to join, to repay Detlinde for ruining his graduation Whirl. But once again, I suspect that Sieglinde will not like the idea of having both the Aub and his successor involved in the same attack and try to dissuade him.
I can just imagine how sad Rauffen is going to be when he hears that he missed out on a true ditter match.
