I'm writing is as an author who lost all her work after a hard disk failure. Please make sure to make a daily backup of the site on a USB!

Better safe than sorry.

Server now does daily backups onto another drive in my house.

In case my house gets flooded the data would still be gone but given that I live on a hill I don't think that's gonna happen soon.
