You really think 1.1 million can feasibly leave a city three times as dense as LA in the middle of complete electrical loss, food and water shortages? In 24 hours?
You know how many are about to die just getting out? How many will die because they couldn't get out in time?
Tens of thousands. The ones who do make it out will be homeless and destitute. More dead. Food and water situation in the south is going to be abysmal. More dead.
And I would be utterly unsurprised if the city is never returned.
You think there's anything that can be done? Get over yourself. It's a war. Israel has to do what must be done, as swiftly as possible. You know that, based on what Hamas has said and done. You know when you're pushing this pro-palestine narrative, you're conveniently leaving out all these problems. You're defending terrorists that shoot and burn babies.

Funny you have a list of Israel's crimes but where is the list of Hamas crimes? The fact you leave it out says you don't care. You're literally defending and excusing what happened to those Israeli children and others.
Wow, that sucks. Would have been a good time for Palestinians to call attention to their plight. Instead, it seems, they let Hamas fester and grow emboldened in their attacks, until they're invading, shooting and burning babies. You know, what you don't want to talk about but that you want to defend. Brutalizing babies. Demanding Israel continue to live that way is not an option. Israel declared war on Hamas, not on Palestinians. If your enemy makes soldiers of their children, you destroy their soldiers. Something you don't want to acknowledge, but the same choice we'd all make to survive. Israel cannot survive next to an enemy that unequivocally demands its destruction. The people of Israel are settlers who, by and large, have not lived their whole lives there. Benjamin netanyau grew up in Philadelphia for fuck's sake. Those people largely chose to bring their children into a war zone. They could just as easily have left. The Palestinians who's land is being actively stolen from them have no where else to go!
The Israeli government has the choice to end this conflict. They could grant Palestinians equal rights, end settlement in the West Bank, provide Palestinians a right of return, and formulate a long-standing peace plan tomorrow.
They choose to not make progress towards any of those things though. They choose to continue treating Palestinians like cattle to be caged and slaughtered. As far as I'm concerned, any fresh perpetrated by Hamas is a direct result of Israeli policy.

So you're demanding that Israel go back to living with the constant threat of insurgent attacks, of rockets endlessly launched at them. You think what Hamas did to those Israeli children doesn't deserve response? You don't believe Hamas will work ceaselessly to destroy Israel? Israel is defending itself. It's a war. Any settler with citizenship elsewhere should leave, stolen land given back to Palestinians, massive reparations paid, and the current Israeli government dissolved and replaced with a single Palestine government fairly representing all.
Barring that, at least stop genociding Palestinians, that would be a decent start.
