I had to enable proton compatibillity to even get the game to detect the controller however even after doing that the analog stick won't go up. I tried enabling steam input but that didn't work either

I believe in order to use a controller for Undertale you have to map keyboard buttons to the controller using steam.

If that’s the case I’ll probably just use a keyboard, I was under the impression the analog sticks were helpful for some of the boss fights but if they’re just mapped to keys then I won’t have analog control anyway
