My SO got me into this band in the 80s. We followed them ever since Swoon, this first record. S-Tier pop music, as the younger folk say.

Honestly I haven't been a fan of Eartheater's brand of experimental pop in the past. However with Powders she has taken a more subdued approach to create what is essentially a trip hop album. It has a really interesting and unexpected cover of Chop Suey halfway through the album too. And if you like this it is apparently a sister album to her upcoming 2024 album Aftermath. I'll be looking forward to that.
