You are on Lemmy and you are leaving Facebook, you don't need anything else, you've got everything already.

That's a possibility indeed, but at least he documented all the steps, it's great to see that because it looks like a lot of work. But I agree at the first that big long page for sure can be intimidated (CTRL+F is your best friend here).

He doesn't look like someone who doesn't know docker, there is a whole section on that wiki page where he describes what docker is and how it works in details.
He just decided to not dockerize his installation because:

  1. he thinks VM in his case are more practical.
  2. docker didn't even exist when he started to go self-hosting.

For some reason you are just having a bad moment mate, rejoice! Nothing is dead.
I mean Reddit is still alive, like it or not I don't think it's going to change any time soon.
Lemmy does its own things, sure it didn't grow as expected but it is doing good, those things take time and we should not expect Lemmy to become the new Reddit.

For me the main issue on Lemmy is the number of thread/community/people that want to talk absolutely about Reddit, at this point this is just counterproductive it's like people can't get over it, the first few months it was okay but now it's just non sense.

I've got them all, so I know what I am saying there is no reason for me to lie on such thing.
If I refer to the picture I would say they did some modifications after listening to the feedback and it's a good thing.
The only regret when I see that picture is to think that I may be bought them too early.

Geekworm Pi 3 case (also fits Pi 2)

Exact, it fits to the Pi3 and Pi2 but there is a little inconvenience with the Pi2 because the power lights are on the left while the wholes on the case are on the right, so with the Pi2 you don't see the green/red light. The rest of the case fits well.
It's not a big deal but still one must be warned.

I’ve also ordered some extra strips of cooling pads and added them to the bottom side of the CPU and the RAM chip beneath - so that heat gets sent to the case as well.

Nice trick.

Yep the Flirc case is good looking but it stops there, it's not as efficient as one would expect from passive cooling.
I tried few fanless cases, Flirc included and I was not impressed, the top of the case is not aluminum but plastic, strange choice.
Geekworm does a better job, at least the one I've got, never goes over 55°C in hot summer, the rest of the year is around 39°C to 43°C not more.
The case is heavy and sturdy, it doesn't feels cheap at all.

Here we go ... again.

Amazing would definitely not be the word I'd use for this movie, average fits it better. It's not terrible but it's far from great either.

I liked the acting in some scenes, but the rest is meh you won't see anything you haven't already seen somewhere else.
The story is pretty basic, I had to watch the movie in three parts over two days, this how not interesting the story is ...
I mean there is no suspense they sold the plot in the title already.

Otherwise they could manage a enjoyable film, they had good actors and the budget but Netflix has to do its thing, so creativity is not part of the plan. For me it is a 5/10, only because of the actor's effort otherwise it would be 3.5.
