Check out Typst and its flake! Really nice, a lot simpler than latex. here's my template https://git.sr.ht/~imadnyc/nix-templates

If you put a chat on your scratchpad, you can toggle the chat floating on top of all other windows and then put it away. I'll maybe put up a demo later

Yeah, systemd-init. Pretty sure the GUI installer uses systemd-init -- never broke once for me.
