With how most monitors being wide-screen (or even ultra-wide), horizontal might make more sense

I usually use Roboto or Inter as my desktop font on gtk/gnome

Mostly okay. My only annoyance is setting up electron apps to use Wayland.

Thanks for the tip. Just to be clear... are these instructions for cleaning the glasses, or the microfibre cloth?

Hmm, I feel like there's some nuances around Hyprland (and it's kind of window managers) that makes having a place for discussion valuable.

  • Plugin development discussions
  • Configuration recipes and troubleshooting (Configs for tiling wm's often are like 500-line software projects)
  • ...and sometimes its just fun to chat with like-minded people who share a similar philosophy on the tools they use on their computers

I'm not a hyprland user, but I find it valuable to lurk around SwayWM communities on Discord and Reddit.

How do you like Prestigio? Have you tried Moon Reader? Curious to hear what makes Prestigio a good choice (i personally switch between both every now and then)

including the world "Reddit" at the end

I found that adding "join Lemmy" works for Lemmy.

Also https://fedi-search.com has a few more ideas

KMonad!

It's more like an analogue for QMK (custom keyboard firmware) than reWASD though with features oriented towards rearranging, layers, etc. But it can do more than that, too.

Also it works on Xorg, Windows and macOS too.

What an interesting story!

For future readers, keep in mind that that is a work of fiction

I often swap between three:

  • a convenient pair (wireless - Galaxy Buds Pro)
  • a good sounding pair (IEM with a DAC - Moondrop Aria)
  • a sleeping pair (small and cheap - Moondrop Quarks)
