You're forgetting about models that are open source and able to run locally. Llama3 is not the best model, but it's still very useful and will continue to get better along with the top closed source models.

Shoppers is not a grocery store, so of course they're going to charge more for things like peanut butter, when compared to grocery stores like No Frills or Costco. You're paying extra for convenience, and they're selling lower volumes. A better comparison would be peanut butter at convenience stores.

I like the algo. The "discover weekly" playlist continues to recommend new music that I like and didn't know existed, at least every week or two. And "song radio" is such a good way to keep a vibe going.

I'm still paying off loans and will be for the next 8 years. I'm ineligible for forgiveness now because I consolidated with a private lender. I hope everyone gets their debt wiped, even if I can't. Education should be free to begin with.
