Damn! I don't understand why, but I can't see this post of yours from Friendica... If I paste this link (https://lemmy.ml/post/16017036) into the search box, the system doesn't give me any results

Buongiorno Adriano, ti ho inviato un messaggio privato con i suggerimenti per modificare il post πŸ˜…

Ops...

I know this well, because as administrator of feddit.it I received a report regarding the content you published and, being in Italy and following Italian news well, I was able to see that the news was true and should not have been reported: in fact it is wrong report content only because the sources are biased. If the sources are biased, this should be addressed in the discussion.

In this regard, I would like to take this opportunity to remind the administrators of feddit.it that the European community https://feddit.de/c/europe is currently without a moderator.

Edit: However, now I have seen that a new moderator has been promoted, while the one who was previously the community moderator turned out to be a profile that no longer exists

I took the liberty of mentioning you administrators, because unfortunately, if a moderator closes his account, Lemmy does not provide an automatic mechanism to notify the administrators that the community has remained "orphaned"

There is a substantial difference between a fascist government and a government that would like to be one, but which finds itself with a constitution which (Renzi allowing) is difficult to modify, a President of the Republic who (hoping that he survives the legislature) carries out his duties very well role as guarantor of the Constitution and an unprepared, pathetic and incapable ruling class

Unfortunately you are right: the Italian government is not a fascist government (this is not the right place to explain my statements), but unfortunately it is a government in which the majority of ministers and deputy ministers extol the fascist ideology and desire employment of fascist methods. There is therefore no surprise at this fascist drift, but it is important that Europe and the whole world are indignant at these drifts, because this is the only way to help millions of numb Italians to emerge from their lethargy.

I am publishing this article because I received a report about a post reporting the same news, but which was deleted because doubts were expressed about the reliability of the site used as a source.

Unfortunately that post, published by one of our users, was totally founded and correct

Well, in Italy police violence against students even forced the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella to issue a statement criticizing the behavior of the police.

ROME, Feb 23 (Reuters) - Footage of police beating pro-Palestinian students drew broad condemnation in Italy on Friday, with the opposition calling for the interior minister to address parliament over the episode. Student marches were blocked by police in the Tuscan cities of Florence and Pisa, with images of officers vigorously using their truncheons on school-age protesters in Pisa triggering outrage on social media and from politicians.

Kbin was a fantastic project and its developer deserves all our respect.

Unfortunately Kbin suffered a perfect storm that overwhelmed him: -he was born at the wrong time; indeed: he was born at a very right time! That is, just before migration from Reddit reached its peak

  • it was too immature and too good at the same time: users saw how good it was and dived into it en masse
  • as if that wasn't enough, even more users flocked to Kbin due to a well-known Fediverse popularizer, blinded by ideological hatred towards the Lemmy developers, who recommended it to everyone as the best alternative to Reddit, saying something lie: immature software like Kbin CAN NEVER be a better alternative than mature software like Lemmy (oh yes, congratulations FediTips: you actively contributed to sinking the Kbin boat!)
  • the developer was alone, a very normal circumstance for a project in development; but this led to an absurd overload and a totally destabilizing overexposure!
  • finally, the usual dynamic of free software has struck again: herds and herds of ignorant, selfish, resentful people lacking any empathy began to DEMAND improvements, modifications and corrections to a software that (I repeat once again) was still immature, without giving ANYTHING, and when I say NOTHING I mean without financing the project.

I completely understand that the developer went into burnout! The meltdown of lone developers is a very frequent phenomenon in free software... These pressures are almost impossible to bear: to bear them you need to have balls of steel, decent financial resources, many true friends and a pathological level of enthusiasm and self-esteem to resist such strong emotional pressure.
