I use it for getting comic strips, news and events. Funny thing I use it alongside Nitter to also get updates on local accounts, such as government, nearby events, etc.

TL;DR: What state or city of your country gets the most satirical love / bullied?

I previously posted a question regarding the Alabama of other countries (apologies to those that did not enjoyed it). However, while reading the comments I discovered that Acre in Brazil doesn't exist and if it does it is filled with 🦕.

I immediately thought of Tlaxcala (Mexico), which is a hoax, "Tlaxcala son las papás" (parents are Tlaxcala). This is very likely related to the fact that is the smallest state by a far margin, you even need a 🔎 to find it.

So..., I wanted to know what state or city of your country gets the most satirical love / bullied?

Here in Mexico is very common for employers to ask us to "ponernos la camiseta" (put on the team jersey). I believe this has football connotations, but I thinks it means the same as taking one for the team. It is mostly used when the employer, manager, sr manager, etc. requests us to do more than we are paid for, e.g. to work longer hours, work on weekends, take on two people jobs, etc.

Thanks!! Gotta read it later on desktop, for some reason the link breaks the app I'm using

Hi everybody, my girlfriend showed me a Tiktok about manga authors adding unnecessary incest plotlines to their works and I thought immediately "They are from Monterrey" (we are from Mexico).

I remembered that the States have a similar joke about Alabama and I started wondering if other countries also have a state or city associated with people who are, for some unknown reason, attrated to their cousins.

Here in Mexico there even is a kind of saying for these people «A la prima se le arrima».
