Out of all the things that Spotify is shitty for that's the least of my worries about them, and I fucking hate right-wing shitheads. People would rather see the artists they love starve if it gave them convenience to enjoy their art without actually paying for what they do.

It's honestly kind of baffling to see people go up in arms enough to side with fucking Disney "in support of artists" because AI is supposedly stealing from them and the same people go on with their lives and put on Spotify and feel self-righteous. People fucking suck.

I'm glad someone enjoyed it! I don't think I could cringe as much watching a show as when I was watching that. I'd rather watch Dawson's Creek or something. There were a lot of elements that could've made it great, but it just really felt horrible watching it the whole time. In comparison the weird X-Files reboot was at least kind of fun, Dexter was like watching a trainwreck to me.

No-one's mentioned Dexter yet, so I'm gonna go ahead and do that. What a shit show. I really don't get why they brought it back from the dead. Sure the original ending was kind of shitty, but it wasn't that bad they had to revive it and kill it for good.

Oh my god thank you, been trying to find something that does exactly this for a while. Subscribed to hundreds of communities and blocked even more and I was seriously considering adding and blocking everything manually to another account on another instance. Thank god I was lazy with that.

Have you seen the Futurama movies? I didn't even know they existed until this year and I'm trying to decide whether I should see the movies before starting the new season.

I'm going through TOS (nearing the end of season 2) and have been wondering whether I should watch the animated series, leaning on skipping it entirely, is it worth watching? I'm all for animation, but tbh a lot of american animation has left me disappointed.

I tried to read Asimov (by recommendation of my grandpa) as a kid and even though I was big into really heavy, dry philosophy and philosophical books I couldn't get through any of his books - if you watch Foundation without expecting a great adaptation of the books (which in and of itself would be quite an achievement which I doubt we'll ever see) it is a pretty great scifi show in my opinion. Certainly piqued my interest in finally reading the books even if it's nothing like the show, but then again I don't expect adaptations to be exact replicas of the original work and find that very difference enjoyable.

My folks had a stove with two (electric) heat elements in the same way I assume OP has, to use both, you had to go 360° all the way to a full circle where it "clicked", then go back to where you wanted it at. Much easier and sensible IMO than whatever the hell this headache is.

Greg does the best impression of Wiseau ever. You can find him read the whole book. It's hilarious

Ooooh I completely forgot Primer!

Lol, haha, I never thought about that. I used to watch a shit-ton of movies as a teen. Got into horror movies, David Lynch and weird stuff early on so I kind of dove into the deep end very early and with no social life there was a lot of time to watch a lot of stuff.

I seem to be having a phase where I don't really watch movies that much (series more than ever), but when I do it's usually kind of "comfort food" so I'm mostly watching all-time favorites over and over again.
