I don't think "decentralised" is the word y'all are disagreeing on. Define platform. Because I think the "platform" you're talking about is the technology underpinning Bluesky (AT Protocol), which is decentralised, and others here are talking about the Bluesky "platform" itself, as in the service which is a single, centralised implementation of AT Protocol.

People used to think the moon drove people crazy. Turns out it was the sun the whole time
Oni had such a cool combat system! There aren't enough single-player action games with this type of combat depth IMO. This video (YouTube link) does a great job explaining it in detail.
Re. EV series ports - check the first link in my previous comment ;)
And I had the same experience with Endless Sky when I first found out about it some years ago. It has gotten a lot of updates since then, but I am holding out for a 1.0 release
Cool, serrated catheters
I don't think a 5/10 game is necessarily bad, but it needs to have some kind of - I dont know, character? Niche appeal? - to shine for the players who are going to like it.
I'll throw out Krater as an example. It's not great, but it has a unique setting, great atmosphere, and some interesting ideas driving it. I kinda love it for its eccentricities in spite of the overall experience being a bit meh.
My cats like to announce loudly when they are done pooping. It's a very specific and audibly differentiable meow, like they are notifying me to come clean up. ๐
