I'm about 6 years completely Amazon-free. A key component of the switch was realizing a lot of the random stuff I'd buy (mostly cycling equipment) is cheaper on eBay with faster shipping. The irony is that the seller is likely the same one on Amazon and the items would be delivered by Amazon Fulfillment Services.
I'm playing the original Phantasy Star via the SEGA Ages version on Switch. Very much enjoying the simplicity of an 8-bit RPG, but it's amazing to see how much they were able to push the Sega Master System to its limits.
Also trudging through Dirge of Cerberus on PS2. It's clunky and jank as hell but I love the atmosphere.

Not sure what drugs you're doing but I'm about 6 years clean now. One thing that helped me the most was rediscovering my passion for video games. I guess my advice would be to find a hobby or something to focus on and forget about the world for a few hours.
If you want to feel like you're doing something productive, get involved in your local community. It's very difficult to fight fascism at a macro level but building bonds and protecting those in your immediate vicinity makes more of a difference than it seems.
