Genuine question (I haven't played it): If it's a co-op PvE game, what reason could there be for not having the option of client-side hosting? You wouldn't need to have a queue and have lower requirements for server maintenance. You could play on official servers or community servers.

"our century", meaning the 21st century - not the last 100 years.

Saw someone use the phrase "enshittification of AI"

I'm not sure even they knew what they meant

I found my IPTV provider on https://iptv.community. There's a thread where you can comment what you're looking for, and providers will message you. Usually you can get a 24h free trial before you buy a subscription.

I only have Sky Sports FHD though, no 4k. Although I'm sure there are providers who have 4k channels.

Some of Starfield’s planets are meant to be empty by design — but that's not boring. “When the astronauts went to the moon, there was nothing there. They certainly weren't bored." The intention of Starfield's exploration is to evoke a feeling of smallness in players and make you feel overwhelmed.

May as well boot up SpaceEngine then.

I had the same email, it's creator-related features. So if you don't produce content it shouldn't affect anything

I bought a refurbished steam deck finally and am thinking about what my ahem acquisition workflow will be. This is what I'm thinking from my past experience daily driving Linux (arch btw):

For Linux native games, easy - just torrent it and/or install it and play.

For Windows:

  • For game file dumps, add the .exe in Steam as a non-steam game and run it with proton.
  • For setup installations (repacks etc.), run the setup.exe with wine, install to a location, then do the same as above.

For any issues with the above, try installation scripts from Lutris and review protonDB and wineHQ to troubleshoot.

Is there an easier way I'm missing?

Edit: Will also check Bottles. Apparently you can use Heroic launcher to install setup.exes? If true I'll try that also.
