So Simcity 3000 meets the Sims?

A slight inconsistency with Voyager logic is that the Doctor's mobile emitter seems to disappear when the Doctor is deactivated. That seems to suggest the emitter is holographic itself. But what emits the emitter?

What a clickbait title. It's just a generative AI that turns meme images to short videos. Big deal.

Trump is garbage. Biden is running against Trump. Therefore, Biden is the anti-garbage. Basic reasoning, man.

I'll eat my hat and comment here if Biden doesn't gets his nomination. I didn't say Biden is the nominee. I didn't even use the word "nominee". Its you who keeps attacking the straw man. But you know what? I'm 100% sure the DNC will nominate Biden. That debate performance was bad but he ain't losing his presumptive nomination. Don't confuse reality with what you want to happen.

So your logic is that supporting garbage is better than supporting the anti-garbage because it makes clear to everyone that you and everybody else are supporting garbage? Don't you think voting Trump because "he will win" is a self-fulfulling prophecy?

LOL. A lot of flowery language there but not much substance. The Dems can't switch now. Trump can instantly snatch on to that and attack whoever replaces Biden as an inferior desperate backup. Trump will say you Democrats have no idea what they're doing and they can't even stand behind their incumbent. This isn't only about 2024 but also about the midterms. Who would vote for a party that backstabs their incumbent?

By ChatGPT:

Tuvok: Ensign Kim, your dedication to your duties is truly impressive. I must admit, I find myself looking forward to our conversations more than I expected.

Harry Kim: Thanks, Tuvok. Your guidance means a lot to me. There's something about our talks that feels different. It's like we're on the same wavelength.

Tuvok: Indeed, Harry. I sense a connection between us that goes beyond our roles on this ship. It's a puzzle that intrigues me.

Harry Kim: I feel it too, Tuvok. It's like we have this unspoken understanding that's hard to put into words. I've been thinking about it a lot lately.

Tuvok: Perhaps it's time we acknowledge this connection and explore it further. How about we have dinner in the astrometrics lab tomorrow evening?

Harry Kim: I'd love that, Tuvok. I've been hoping for a chance to get to know you better outside of work. Tomorrow evening sounds perfect.

Tuvok: Excellent. I'm looking forward to it, Harry. The idea of spending more time together and unraveling this mysterious bond between us is quite appealing.

(They share a smile, their unspoken feelings now out in the open, as they finalize plans for their upcoming date in the secluded corner of the lower decks of the USS Voyager.)

I think you missed the point here. To the believer, evidence is not the main concern. Many Christians talk about their connection and relationship with god, which is subjective. To them, god exists because they have faith, not evidence, that it exists. Where's that faith coming from? As many others explained in this thread, it's about finding the sense of community and comfort in knowing that somebody higher us knows best in the world of uncertainty.

Crew romance doesn't play a big role in Voyager tbh, gay or not. The only proper relationship we see fleshed out is between B'Elanna and Tom Paris. We hear about Tuvok's wife, Janeway's fiance, and whatever that is between Seven and Chakotay.

It will be interesting to see Harry dating men but I don't see a pairing on the bridge.

I don't know who greenlit this supposed celebration of TAS, but the writing is cheap, lowbrow and cringey. It's a total shame that the amazing animation and sound design are paired with this quality of writing. None of the three eps released so far impressed me.

I'm seriously shocked by the Youtube comments that found it funny. The latest one is literally supposed to be funny because it involves boogers. Paramount should be ashamed it spent money on this. Have they stopped for a moment to think if this is what TAS fans want? /rant

In celebration of the original Voyager's return in her full glory in Lower Decks season 4, it's high time to have another listen to the Prodigy theme written by Michael Giacchino.

If you've only listened to the theme in the Prodigy opening, you would have missed the solemn but beautiful buildup to the epic second half. To me, the first part shows a yearning and curiosity toward space exploration, much like a child looking at the stars and thinking when I can be up there. And in the middle of that imagination, the music shoots up, and you suddenly find yourself in a starship whizzing through planets and nebulas at warp 9.

It's such beautiful and epic music. So underrated.

The part about trek at 2:26.
