The X-Files return. 2 brief seasons that felt like they were designed to make sure no one asks for any more of the show ever again.
Michelle Hurd has been championing longer seasons of television for the sake of job security. We really just need to accept that 10 episode series are not there to "cut out the bad stuff" but to put the cast and crew in a worse position. Produce less content, if it "flops" then you've only spent so much and can cut everyone loose and recoup the loss elsewhere instead of investing jn the future.
I think more episodes of SNW would do the show a lot of good. Right now, the status quo (in my eyes, at least) is gimmick episodes. We're not getting nearly enough "normal" Trek. Season 2 specifically has mostly been gimmicks, crossovers, and bottle episodes. You really need to construct before you deconstruct, make a status quo before you break it. It would make these big episodes stand out more.
TNG, in my opinion. It's arguable about it being the best, but I think it's the fairest entry point. It was meant as a starting point in a way other shows were not.
First 2 seasons are bad, so I'd recommend an episode guide to skip past the offensive and bad.
I've never been able to get that one to seed for me, sadly. It's not subtitled as far as I can tell so It doesn't matter much. I put out a request for subs on avistaz but the mods deleted everything without explanation.
Closed Door Village, Chinese film from 2014. I have it with hardcoded mandarin subs, but it's never been translated as far as I can tell.
It may not be my favorite now, but Carnival of Monsters left such an impression on me. Definitely feels "modern" in a lot of sensibilities, and is just COOL.
The primary issue on PC is that it broken F4SE, breaking a large number of mods and delaying Fallout London, a mod they poached developers from.
That, and loading times in some areas are suddenly a minute long.
