This is a few months old, but I don't remember seeing it before. I'm a sucker for this kind of "inside baseball" information.
It's very possible - in 2001, it would have been harder to find things that weren't influenced by "The Matrix."
The plot setup itself isn't too original for Trek - DS9's "The Assignment" comes to mind.
It looks like Trudeau wasn't asking her to resign - he was looking to shuffle her out of the role and into a different cabinet post. Which isn't exactly a vote of confidence.
I swear, this story said something about Canada Post agreeing to a 5% intirim raise last night, but that doesn't seem to be in there any more.
Well, that's a bombshell.
Yeah, unfortunately basic geography means there's likely a hard limit on how much diversification is realistic.
We absolutely should do everything we can to reduce our reliance on the US, but options become limited once you remove rail and road from the equation.
F-Droid is apparently in the works, but not yet.

I liked how William Boimler was so done with Multiverse fatigue. Felt topical given the current Hollywood trend.
Agreed - it was nice to see them tackle multiverse fatigue head-on. It was even nicer to have Lily(!) provide a bit of a rebuttal to it, and argue that such stories don't have to be hacky.
I've found the season to be a little lacklustre, but I really liked this one. The gags seemed like more than just gags, and the story was more engaging than I thought many of them have been recently.
Having Jolene ~~Blalock~~ back was a real treat.
Sahar is “super old,” extending his life through genetic augmentation and cryo sleep.
This is a somewhat different take from what I've been thinking - my interpretation of things that have been revealed so far is that he's an unfrozen Augment prisoner in the Khan tradition.
I haven't listened to the audio, so I don't know what Wang's tone is like during this story, but...that sounds really shitty. Possibly worse than filming something that later got cut.
