I looked up the article (here in case anyone else wants to read it), although I would not give them more clicks honestly.

It’s absolutely despicable. They updated the headline. But nowhere in the article do they mention what’s what.

In a video shared widely on social media and reviewed by CTV News Toronto, a man holding what appears to be a nail gun can be seen grabbing a person wearing a keffiyeh.

No mention who the attacker is (Zionist) nor the victim(s), just "wearing a keffiyeh" as if the general public knows what this (either a Palestinian or pro-Palestine protester).

This is no coincidence and has got to be the worst piece of "journalism" I have seen since Oct 7.

Edit: they updated the article again, making it marginally better, but the bar is on the floor here…

The military on Sunday didn’t comment on this attack but said it “follows international law and takes feasible precautions to mitigate civilian harm.”

Bunch of clowns 🤡. Do they even believe this themselves?

Israel will sign it. The US will say “See? They signed it” and nothing will change. We all know the US blindly trusts Israel’s word.

Find out who organized a protest that you would have wanted to join, start following them on social media, they will usually announce any upcoming protests there.

You can also try Googling to find organizations in your area that match your ideologies by entering {ideology} + {location} in Google, e.g. “BLM San Francisco” and sign up for newsletters.

In the beginning it will be a lot of active looking but once you start following the right accounts on social media and you’ve signed up for some newsletters/mailinglists, you should be able to passively consume what’s happening next and where.

+972 approached the IDF Spokesperson for comment in response to the information contained in this article. The army wrote back: “The IDF cannot review the incident based only on testimonies.”

Right, but when all they offer is a single “eye witness” testimony we are supposed to believe them. Good to know that works only one way.

So how is what Netanyahu says not “from the river to the sea”?

[–] Therealgoodjanet@lemmy.world 39 points 7 months ago (3 children)

During Thursday's news conference, he said Israel must have security control over all land west of the River Jordan, which would include the territory of any future Palestinian state.

So… from the river to the sea? I thought that was anti-semitic Bibi. You using it means it’s not, right?

Here we go then: From the river to the sea Palestine will be free.

Ah yes, the people supporting the leopards eating faces club are once again surprised the leopards ate their face.

Hell yeah! Free books, magazines, games etc. to borrow. They offer free activities and programs for children and adults. It’s for everyone, regardless of your social status or income, what’s not to like?!

Mobs of pro-Hamas students and faculty have marched by the hundreds through Harvard's campus, shouting vile antisemitic slogans and calling for death to Jews and Israel

I’m sorry, what? I have a hard time believing that. Hundreds of pro-Hamas students? Do they mean pro-Palestinian maybe? Which; let’s be clear is not the same thing.

So how about we make sure everyone feels safe on campus. Muslims, Jewish people, Palestinians, black people, Asians, gay people, every single human being. There is enough hate in the world as is, we don’t need to keep adding fuel to the fire.
