It's hard to imagine "tense" action with how goofy the enemies act, so I guess the second option sounds better? I've never played Max Payne 3 or Uncharted 4, so I don't really know exactly what you mean.

It's kinda insane how much of a wild animal I become when I have a mango in my hands

It's not just you. It's the only role of his I know personally too lol

Really wish they had re-released 1 and 2 as a double pack similar to Pikmin 1+2. I guess they thought it was too soon to release the first again because of the 3DS remake. Although now that I think about it, they totally could have just made an HD version of the 3DS remake as well. It would've been nice to have the entire series on one device.

I understand the disappointment coming from longtime F-Zero fans. I haven't played GX yet, so I was totally looking forward to a port of it myself. At the same time, this actually looks really fun. And as a hilarious (not really) bonus, since it wasn't released on an anniversary, it won't be delisted!

Holy crap. HOLY CRAP! HOOOOOOOOLY-

Literally replaying this game right now. One of my favorite Mario RPGs ever. I actually shed a tear watching the trailer lmao

I guessed correctly that Diddy Kong and Pauline would make it in, but I didn't expect another Kong at the same time, AND Peachette as well. Anyways, nice for this game to FINALLY get its last bits of new content. Here's to the next mario kart game.

Yes, but you'll have to build the decomp version yourself. It'll be kept separate from the steam version you already have installed. Fair warning as it looks a bit complicated. Here's a guide: https://gamebanana.com/tuts/15254

Before mod support, the decomp project allows for the game to be ported to more systems. Tbh, I'm not completely sure what all the differences are, but the two things that matter the most are the possibility to port to other systems, and the mods that can now take advantage of the decompiled code, allowing for mod support that wouldn't be possible on the steam version.

Have you looked at the github page for the mod? This was listed as a known bug:

"LOADING A SAVEDATA.BIN WITH AN AMY SLOT OUTSIDE OF EXTRA SLOT AMY WILL CRASH THE GAME UPON ENTERING MANIA MODE. BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL SAVEDATA.BIN!!!"

Edit: Looks like this mod was made for use with the Sonic Mania Decomp, not the version of Mania you use on Steam.

I don't have any mods that focus on improving the base game itself, so I'll give the ones I have downloaded and find enjoyable.

CHARACTER MODS

  • Blazey Mix Plus New Animations - Blaze with a custom moveset (replaces Sonic)

  • Amy and Cream Edition (replacing Sonic and Tails)

  • Amy Mania SHC 2020 Amy with a custom moveset (replacing Mighty)

SOUNDTRACK MODS

  • Advance Series BGM

  • Sonic Rush/Adventure Music

  • XGamer Dream Soundtrack

OTHER MODS

  • Sonic Mania Heroes (play as 3 characters as once - only works in Mania mode)

  • Splitscreen Coop (works with up to 4 people)
