This episode was like RTDs whole run - generally good but with some almost unbearably cheesy moments

But this is justified by the Simpson's religious/cultural beliefs, themselves formed in response to violence and trauma committed by others, and funded by the religious fanaticism of the Flanders family who believe the Burgler has to die to usher in the end times.
