When I worked at a gas station it was practically the same, sometimes the carton would be more expensive than 10 packs because most smokes have a 2 for 1 deal tied to them. I can't remember if it was corporate or big tobacco but one of them cracked down on it and changed the rules to where we would get in deep trouble if we sold a "loose carton".

And also just maybe the people that don't work 9-5. You realize that right? Or does everyone in your country stop working at 5pm?

I'm gonna be honest, I've been a heavy smoker for close to 10 years, many times have I stopped for either a t-break, a drug test, or for just being broke.
