  1. Some people prefer pages to scrolling (it’s amazing the strength of opinion about this for either point of view)
  2. Advertisements are charged per impression. So each page counts as a new impression
  3. Be grateful websites no longer auto scroll web pages
  4. Some things lend themselves to page by page. For example very long articles (this is why books replaced scrolls)
  5. Be grateful that websites stopped animating page turns etc
  6. Sometimes web developers don’t care and just use a bought in package

It depends also on what type of business. For example in Finance a consumer is a real person who buys/borrows uses something but a customer is a general term for a person, business, organisation or partnership that buys goods or services.

For example, I might have an account at XYZ Bank and so might a company. We are both customers of XYZ Bank but I am a consumer and the company isn’t.

[to complicate things small businesses might class as consumers in some jurisdictions]

I popped over to Reddit for the first time since third party apps were cruelly shut down. It’s clear that Reddit has sunk to new lows. Obviously trolling and a marked decrease in the quality of content

The first few episodes Mariner was written as hyperactive and overbearing to the point of being off-putting.

But they responded to feedback and wrote her differently going forward and seem to have made some edits to earlier episodes.

It might be worth seeing some later episodes once it got settled in.

Samsung advise not to remove the screen protector, ironically because doing so can damage the screen.

No there’s no tracking, stick out of box experience.

I think it depends on several factors:

In most jurisdictions time has to be allowed for the lawyers to examine the judge’s decision (if a judge has made the determination m) in order to decide if they want to appeal. Remember in some places the prosecution can appeal if the defendant was find guilty but not in all counts.

If a jury made the decision then the judge also has to consider sentencing guidelines and weigh the evidence to determine the sentence. This might involve medical reports etc

In some jurisdictions both parties need to make a case for a particular sentence.

So in many cases it’s not as if nothing is happening.

Every single person who I’ve known or seen with a foldable Samsung has a prominent fold (enough to lift the top layer of the screen) or crack.

The tech just isn’t there yet.

Disagree, work gave me an A21s. At least once a day I’ll be staring at a blank screen for 30 seconds before it shows me the buttons to answer a call but by then the caller has hung up. Also randomly it will turn the screen brightness down so low that you can’t see to turn it up.

Heaven knows how awful the A0 and A1 series are!

I think this is a good point. Stories seem to be stuck more or less in the present day.

Surely that depends whether you’re in the vehicle (and can see the lights) or an observer outside of the vehicle
