Yay! I was worried it wouldn't be coming back. Going to be a great Christmas!

Omg what? That's hilarious

Ugh right? I'd love to join a local plant club but they're all only on Facebook.

Interesting read! I signed up for the Newsletter. The eyeballs following where my thumb touches on my screen is definitely surprising though I guess it shouldn't be that surprised.

It's like every business in my city, I hate it. Want to check out a restaurants menu before trying it out? Look on Facebook. Need to call a business or check holiday hours? Contact info is on Facebook. Makes not having Facebook a huge barrier. Heck even my union basically only communicates over Facebook aside from the occasional email. 😑

Man I'm glad I'm not American, that place is getting closer and closer to Gilead, it's scary.

Agreed about Seven Spellblades! The intro makes it seem like such an epic show bit the actual content has been... boring. I'm still watching hoping it get better but it may end up being a late season drop for me.

Helck was one I haven't checked out so I'll give it a shot.

For myself, I currently have 11 shows on the go this season. I typically try 15-20 and it usually winds down to about 5-10 after I drop the ones I'm not interested in.

The shows I'm watching are:
Jujutsu Kaisen
Bungo Stray Dogs
Horimiya
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead
My Happy Marriage
My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1
Reign of the Seven Spellblades
The Masterful Cat is Depressed Again Today
The Great Cleric
Sugar Apple Fairy Tale
Undead Murder Farce

My favourites new shows this season that I highly recommend checking out are My Happy Marriage and Zom 100: Bucket Lost of the Dead. Both are very different but equally entertaining. My Happy Marrige is a romantic drama with a bit of fantasy thrown in, it's very emotional and has made me cry more times than I care to admit. Zom 100 is a new spin on a Zombie show and has been nothing short of hilarious so far.

I have a few guilty pleasure isekai in there but I'm a sucker for them so don't judge my list too harshly :P

Now that we're a few weeks into the season I was wondering what shows people are watching. Which are your "must see" shows? Any unexpected favourites?

I'm really enjoying this anime, the whole time I was shouting "JUST FREAKING JUMP ALREADY!". I normally can't do zombie shows and movies but this one just hits a bit diffetent. I think it's because it doesn't portray it as if it's the literal worst thing ever and end of the world (even though it kinda would be haha). Glad to have more of the gang introduced.

It's like Sherlock Holmes meets Van Helsing and I'm here for it. I think I'll stick around and see where this show goes. Also I predict it was the butler, that's my guess lol.

Not technically an isekai but .hack//sign is great and basically about being trapped in a video game so it's similar.

Visions of Escaflowne is an isekai without the tropes, it's from the 90's and includes some mechas.

So I'm a Spider, So What? is good and I don't remember fan service or anything else being an issue.

I still enjoy Inuyasha and think it'd be worth you checking out if you haven't yet.

Ya Boy Kongming! is great, it's about a historic figure getting reincarnated in the modern world.

My Next Life as a Villainess, it's cheesy but I like it, villainess isekai has been gaining some steam in the last couple years.

Sonny Boy is amazing and definitely not your typical isekai.

Some favourite non-isekai but still worth checking out:

Jujutsu Kaisen
Fruits Basket 2019
Summer Time Rendering
Horimiya
Attack on Titan
Chainsaw Man
Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War

I'm half expecting it, sleep deprivation makes your brain do some weird things.
