My favorite has always been "Walking Distance". The guy goes back in time to when he was a kid. Reading history it certainly seems like things were calmer back then.

I still do both regular reading and audio. I definitely find that some narrators hold my attention better than others. I need to start noting the narrators along with the subject matter.

I really enjoyed this series even though it was in French with English subtitles. A copy cat version was done in the USA and just wasn't near as good
