Ratings matter, though. A stalemate means your rating doesn't decrease as much as it would have if you'd lost, and you get to take some of your opponent's rating in the process.

This should be allowed in c/anarchychess@sopuli.xyz

Yeah, this article came across as if written by a complete beginner. They mention having their WordPress hacked, but failed to admit it was because they didn't upgrade the install.
