My next board and all for the foreseeable future will be AMD. I'm only rocking a 13600K right now and I haven't had any issues, but the last bios update I did specifically to get the first microcode update wiped my GPU drivers, and the gigabyte update platform installed Norton and some other network monitoring software without my consent.

My dickhead boss quit to go be a cop. I hope I can get back on salary after he's gone.

God I would love for Total Distortion to show up on GOG or Steam one day.

Switched to Firefox in 2023 and it's wild how much shit just works now.

I got it for travel and it really is a top notch portable gaming hub. Doubly so because emulation is really easy to set up and run through the frontend. I love being able to play Elden Ring on the go.

It makes a lot more sense if you reframe it as freedom for rich white landowners in the 1800s to not have to pay taxes to King George, not so much for the peons, paupers and slaves.

There's a sandwich shop around Vancouver that's only open like 10-2 on weekdays so I hardly ever get to go, but they get their bread from a local bakery every morning and it makes all the difference. It's a simple turkey and cheddar sandwich, lettuce, tomato, pickle, a hint of mayo and Dijon mustard, but the ingredients are all quality and, again, the bread is fresh and super soft.

Falling Down

I get this with a young (30's) CEO at a small business. Dude has literally zero follow through, he will ask for things, you will do them, he will forget he asked for them, and then complain you didn't do an entirely unrelated thing that he never asked for. I am genuinely astounded at how he makes it to the office the few days he's actually here.
