Ooh I see that I can do a Goodreads import! I'm sold immediately!

I really miss MSN, I had really good times on it.

I'm finding Goodreads very clunky as well. Is Bookworm a lot worse?

Same, except "feddit dot D E" to distinguish it from feddit.nl (Netherlands), feddit.it (Italy) etc.

I wasn't really trying to give a valuable contribution. It was just a referral to a meme I see in some of my social media timelines. But I agree that the cliché is true.

Camino by Anya Niewierra. She's Dutch so I'm not sure if the book also exists in English.

Before that, Ready Player One. Later on I heard there is some criticism/toxicity around genders, right elitism and the like, but I never noticed that when reading it.

The journey is the part that you remember anyways.

Patatje oorlog + kikastick. "Patatje oorlog" literally means "fries war" but it's just fries with mayonnaise and peanut sauce. The 'kika' is short for kip-kalkoen (chicken-turkey) and it's just meat chunks on a stick with onion slices in between and a crispy jacket. Thanks for the question, now I'm hungry.

Whatsapp is the norm here so I begrudgingly use that. Wish more people were on Signal, Matrix or Telegram.

Exactly :)

Also, once you've been reading for 10 minutes it's easier to just keep reading.
