France : we drink tap water directly without any issue. People who drink bottled water is because they dislike the taste of tap water where they live.

Newm is a wayland compositor in the style of paperwm. It's designed to be more touchpad centric and better for laptop. The original github is unmaintained but there is a fork here

It's really worth a try. My dotfiles are not public yet, but I would be more than happy to help you with configuration directly in comments here. Feel free to ask or join the newm-atha discord
