That definitely happens with the Windows 11 update screen my wife keeps getting on her laptop. When the device boots, it appears to have already started the installation, but it's just a fullscreen advertisement to install Windows 11.

Should phones have something that shows your profile to people in the proximity? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml

Nintendo had a feature like this implemented in the 3DS called StreetPass. When you passed someone else with a 3DS it would share some information (like game data) that you could later review.

What apps are you guys using until Boost for Lemmy gets released? in c/boostforlemmy@lemmy.world
