What utter horse shit. Prices for appliances won't go down so much as single cent, meanwhile it will cost more to run them. Great job, MAGA fuckwits.

I’m going to my states senate office on Monday

Monday is Presidents day, are you sure they'll be open? I know a couple state employees and they have the day off. This could vary by state and office I guess. I'm just saying maybe check the website or something.

Because those who should be doing that are complicit, that's how.

Same. I hope they're kind and don't just ship us all off like the Uighurs.

Can confirm - I'm new here and when I see pieces of shit who'd be right at home amongst the people my grandfather killed in WWII (AKA nazis) it doesn't make me more interested in sticking around. At this point IDGAF why they think they way they think, they can fuck off into the sun. At some point I'll see whatever blocking thing there is and it will get better. Still an improvement over reddit.

That's why I don't download or purchase ebooks from Amazon, but only get them from places I can download a non-DRM'd copy. I'm not looking to break any laws, but if I pay for it, I want to be able to have it whenever I want even when the Internet is down. Recently a buddy gave me his old blu-ray juke box, and now I'm doing the same thing with my favorite movies as well. And building a home lab. It's finally time I decreased (not completely ended) my reliance on the cloud, given the shit show my nation collectively voted for.

I use it to write code for me sometimes, saving me remembering the different syntax and syntactic sugar when I hop between languages. And I use to answer questions about things I wonder - it always provides references. So far it's been quite useful. And for all that people bitch and piss and cry giant crocodile tears while gnashing their teeth - I quite enjoy Apple AI. It's summaries have been amazing and even scarily accurate. No, it doesn't mean Siri's good now, but the rest of it's pretty amazing.
