Musk is creeping into super-villan territory.

I started playing Vampire Survivor on mobile last week and I'm so addicted. I know I'm late to the party. I had heard about it many times but I never played the Desktop version because I wasn't a fan of the 16-bit graphics. But a few days ago I saw it in the Play store for free and decided to try it. Wow! I'm so impressed by this little game. The game play is fun and satisfying. There are plenty of unlocks and secrets in the base game to keep you busy. Well worth a try. Once you get powered up a bit and you unlock some new characters it's really addictive.

We call my son and daughter by shortened versions of their first names. Both are in High School in OCPS. Today they brought home the forms for us to sign to allow them to go by those shortened names in school. I was shocked.

Perhaps Ronald DeSantis should be forced to get permission from his family inorder to continue to be called Ron.

For work and general browsing, I prefer a laptop. But for gaming, I definitely prefer a beefy desktop.

Yeah. Some said it's the best book they've ever played or the best game they've ever read. To be honest the beginning was a bit slow, but has really kicked in and the world they have crafted is very unique.

I think I'm about 2/3 of the way through Disco Elysium.

Since I'm lucky enough to still have a phone with a headphone jack, I mostly listen with my KZ ZSN in ear monitors. Really good sound for the price.

Mostly rock. Specifically love 80s hair metal and hard rock, and prog rock/metal. Lately I've had Sleep Token albums on constant rotation.

Communities usually named 195 or 196 have a rule that if you go there you have to post something. So people will post something and title it "Rule." And it leads to a bunch of low effort crap posts.

Just block any 195 and 196 communites to save your feed from getting overwhelmed with bad posts.

In our case, we both grew up in a conservative state with conservative parents. But over time, I drifted away from it (and it drifted in crazy land). However she still hangs on. She's come around on a few things. She often falls into the false equivalence mindset that both sides are just as bad. And whenever she starts to bring up any anti-vax or Joe Rogan BS, I try to stomp on that real quick. But I know she will always vote for anyone with an R by their name when it comes down to it.

Maybe you have the same problem I have: my wife is still a republican. When that kind of stuff shows up, I know she has been watching it on the family PC. She's not that tech savvy, so I usually go in later and block or limit some of it. It's a pain to fight the algorithms.
