Sadly, Fortnite doesn't run on Linux. EAC has Linux support in general but Epic doesn't it for Fortnite...
Was one of the first things I tried on my Steamdeck after installing HeroicLauncher. Would have been nice with the gyro.

I'm glad that works for you!

In my house we have roller shutters and they make you see nothing.
I've been at places without proper shutters.. tried sleep masks.. and they don't fully block light nor do they stay in place after even a single turn in bed. I ended up wrapping one of my black stockings around my head like a blind fold to actually sleep. >.<'

It can be more confusing than you think at first, all the N/D/L stuff, some then also have 1/2/3, which "gear" to you start the car in, what to do when you come to a full stop (nothing, doh), ...

The very first time I sat behind one was to drive a family friend home who drunk a bit too much, with his own car... I was a bit overwhelmed

Germany, mid 30s, all the cars I've owned were manual so I would say - yes :D

First time I drove a rental automatic I did an accidental hard stop at about every second crossroads as I intended to hit the clutch with my left foot and lacking one just hammered the breaks instead >.>

When driving combustion I prefer manual but I've recently driven some EV, I could get used to that feel :)

In my case, not just the next session, he would find out what the big mystery is and also all the secrets of the other characters.
But I don't think he would read any of it, he loves D&D too much to spoil himself :)

Community (It is far easier to “other” someone that you rarely or never meet in person. Not so easy if they are showing you pictures of their kids every day. “Sally just got a new particle accelerator! Isn’t she so lovely! This is her sinking Manhattan!”)

That's just super relative.
All my active friendships are 90% online and many of those people I very deeply care about. We meet every now and then, on vacations or for special occasions, and have a really amazing time. But we also have a really good time doing online activities together, keeping in touch more or less daily via messages and actively sharing our lives with each other.

On the other hand, othering is very much a thing that happens in person and feels a lot worse when it does happen in person. When every day you see 2-3 colleagues acting differently with you than amongs themselves or with others.
Working from home it is a lot easier to be selective with people you interact beyond the work stuff and avoid negative interactions, or interactions that drain your social batteries.

~~No, since I can't sensibly use Reddit on my phone.~~
I misread - yes, I use Lemmy somewhat less now than I used to use Reddit. Which is probably a good thing^^

This is what makes me sometimes unsure whether I should offer monetary help if I don't know the person intimately enough to judge this sufficiently.

No one claimed it is, when used as an adjective :)

"Males" sounds just as awkward in such a context.
