Do you think that the lack of quality entertainment is one of the root causes for a shift to the right in Canadian politics?

Admittedly it doesn't play as much of a role as the trappings of capitalism and the markets and tools associated with it.

I'm increasingly put off by broadcasters that use body language like sighs and eye rolls, satire, and impersonations in their presentations.

Thoughts?

could spearhead electoral reform in Canada. That might be the party's saving grace.

 

I'm troubled by the power of foriegn owned print news. What do you think of the idea that any foriegn owned newspapers must be printed on tinted newsprint (pale blue if vetted and pale yellow if not) and websites available in Canada must display a banner on every page indicating ownership?
