They removed that feature, at least for Finnish.

The only problem with their SSH agent is, if you store let’s say 6 keys and the server is set to accept a maximum of 5 keys before booting you, and the correct key happens to be key number 6, you can end up being IP banned.

This happened to me on my own server :P

That being said, my experience was using the very first GA release of their SSH Agent, so it’s possible the problem has been sorted by now.

Pretty much what the other poster says, plus the fact that there are other improvements that weren’t big enough to upgrade before, but USB-C tipped the scales.

Which is a really good thing, IMO.

I’m upgrading from a 12 to a 15 because of USB-C and the other improvements that have accumulated, and after that I’m leaving it alone for a long time.

If USB-C wasn’t there, I wouldn’t even bother as my 12 works perfectly fine, Safari feels snappy and this phone could last a good long while still.

There’s just a teeny tiny problem with that; disabling web search renders Search unable to do maths.

It’s not an issue for me since I use PowerToys to get Spotlight-esque search in Windows, but it’s nevertheless hilarious.

macOS search is so much better than Windows search it’s not even remotely close.

Imagine living somewhere where stuffed crust isn’t available. More cheese… yeesssss…

I wonder why I’m fat. Forever to remain a mystery.

Also, I can’t seem to work out how to tap someone’s name to access their profile. Since this app doesn’t handle links to other Lemmy instances internally (the “here” in your OP opens the browser rather than actually taking me to your post), I wanted to comment on your app’s community by finding it via your profile.

Am I just not hitting the correct pixels? Or are there no profile pages just now?

Also, the community icons are missing from the posts in the feed.

This needs thumbnails on the left as well as marking post read on opening thumbnails, other than that it looks great!

Onboarding looks great and the performance is perhaps the best I’ve ever experienced trying various Lemmy apps.

Aha I see, thank you for explaining :)

[–] Belazor@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Right, I see your point, thank you for clarifying :)

That being said, unlike the male-to-male example, where I personally don’t understand why the spec prohibits it, I think it’s pretty obvious why consumers want USB-C. The Internet is awash with memes about inserting USB three times, etc.

I think there’s a vast difference between “why is male-male banned? Heck it, I’ll create one as it serves our use case” and “I’m going to negate the only consumer-facing advantage USB-C has for no real reason”. Yes I know C has many other benefits but the common denominator doesn’t care about any of that.

I’m not sure I understand your point. You can make a USB stick that fries your hardware too, that doesn’t mean Kingston is going to make all of their pen drives fry your hardware.

Is this some kind of “acshully I’m technically correct because it’s theoretically possible” thing?

Except for USB-C, which doesn’t care about orientation.
