I just replaced it with jerboa while waiting, doesn't even matter what the icon is, my muscle memory still takes me here automatically lol.

I see this Google's system more like a "nice to have" feature than something anyone should rely on. I also doubt they marketed it as the be all end all warning system, that would have been incredibly stupid.

if you are lucky enough that your phone gets updated custom ROMs.

Less about luck and more about having a popular enough device. Less popular ones are way more unlikely to have them unfortunately.

Well if people won't use it because it's "cheating". Then it'll never make it to bw ubiquitious next to salt, like it imo deserves to be.

It's almost like a cheat code to make almost anything taste better!

But I also I don't understand people who think that it literally is cheating and shouldn't be used because of that. If msg is cheating, salt is also cheating.

For me, msg has become almost as important "tool" in the kitchen as salt.
