As someone who doesn't own a Roku, is there an app that is available through the Play store to stream these? Or is it a Roku-only thing?

Some TVs have a Roku app built in, and there is also a mobile app

Try YouTube. They have tons of ad supported TV shows and movies.

I keep forgetting my TiVo stream can get the roku channel.
