+1 to both of these. The Red Rising series is great and the Count of Monte Cristo is a long but extremely satisfying tale of revenge.
Sci fi is great. Pushing Ice by Alastair Reynolds is one of my all time favorites and has quite a bit of tasty comeuppance.

The Count of Monte Cristo is what immediately came to my mind also. He is absolutely thorough in his revenge.
