That being said I'm not sure what would be crossing the line of over promoting other communities.

However now that post is sorta buried. If you make a post this week it will inevitably get planted within 1-2 days. Would you keep posting every week then? If so how much reposing (in posts/comments) would be considered overdoing it/crossing the line.
I'm not sure if I'm over thinking things/ over complicating things .....
tagging @Deemo@lemmy.fmhy.ml so he also knows what the state of thing is.
Lev (reddit mod) and me have agreed on a pinned comment in the reddit discussion linking to lemmy, we find it an acceptable balance of creating awareness (let's be real here, nobody reads the damn sidebar) and not being obnoxious about it.
