The Base is emerging from shadows and ramping up its ranks as White House turns blind eye to the far right

An international neo-Nazi terrorist organization is boldly continuing to build in the US and planning a new paramilitary training event without fear of local authorities or the FBI, which once dismantled it in a nationwide effort.

The Base, founded in 2018 by a former Pentagon contractor living in Russia and now suspected of Kremlin-sponsored espionage, once boasted close to 50 stateside members before the bureau made more than a dozen arrests in a years-long counter-terrorism operation.

But since the presidential election campaign last year and what many then believed to be a surefire victory for Donald Trump, the Base saw an opportunity in a potential administration uninterested in policing white supremacy and went about ramping up its ranks.

Maybe a good time for some moles to join up while they're trying to vet a lot of new recruits...

All you lefty accelerationists who ten months ago wanted to “teach the Dems a lesson” - I expect to see you out there lighting up these chuds with weapons. You wanted this, here it is.

Oh wait what? You have no plan, and no support? Just gonna fold under the weight of your own idiotic arrogance eh? Who could have expected that.

And no, murdering two unarmed employees of the Israeli embassy at a museum does not count.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 2 points 21 minutes ago

I dunno man, I was told progressives votes did not matter in the last election, and here you are crying about it like it does matter. Thats confusing-- Why bother if progressives had no power? And if their votes DID matter, why didnt the Harris campaign with their 'biggest-warchest-ever' consultants factor that into their brilliant calculations/triangulations?

Seems like a lot of finger pointing when the killer's call is coming from inside the house.

Reminder: killing Nazis incurs no moral debt. For some reason this isn't true legally, but at least you won't have to feel bad about it.

Just a friendly reminder that the 2nd Amendment is for all Americans, no matter how left you lean.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 1 points 21 minutes ago

oh, we're well aware.

"Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary"

Even Karl Marx supports gun rights

[–] rottingleaf@lemmy.world 1 points 14 minutes ago

But karl-marxists forget those the moment their side seems more in fashion.

[–] kautau@lemmy.world 23 points 4 hours ago

At this point they'll probably get direct funding from Kash Patel

[–] Auntievenim@lemmy.world 23 points 4 hours ago

Theyre getting too comfortable

[–] teft@lemmy.world 77 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Fun fact: Al Qaeda translates to “The Base”

[–] BestBouclettes@jlai.lu 33 points 5 hours ago

Definitely not a coincidence

[–] mhague@lemmy.world 34 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

I volunteer to train neonazis. We'll do lots of live fire drills, get drunk and throw grenades, learn how "clean water" is a woke myth, and so much more.

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 15 points 4 hours ago (3 children)

Train them that gun maintenance starts with looking down the barrel to check for any debris, damage, or jams.

[–] JasonDJ@lemmy.zip 1 points 49 minutes ago

Thoroughly inspect the barrel to ensure the hammer operates when there is pressure applied to the trigger.

/S please don't do this.

[–] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 5 points 3 hours ago

Indeed, that's how the fucker Rhodes lost his eyeball.

[–] ToastedRavioli@midwest.social 2 points 2 hours ago

As a time saving measure, it never hurts to make sure the trigger is working properly while you check the barrel

[–] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 33 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

So these right wing nut jobs had families and ancestors that fought a global war to fight against fascists and nazis ...... so that their children and grandchildren can become fascists and nazis

[–] rottingleaf@lemmy.world 1 points 13 minutes ago

Why is everyone surprised.

[–] Brunbrun6766@lemmy.world 22 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

Could possibly be descendents of Nazi supporters here in the US

[–] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 4 points 3 hours ago

You'd think they'd get the message .... when push comes to shove, and if they ever get into real authoritarian power again, the majority of the world will take up arms to fight them ... and there are more of us than there are of them and judging from the track record over the past few wars, they've seldom won (they have won in a few places but not many)

[–] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 4 points 2 hours ago

Patel will not do shit and allow the neo-Nazi asswipes to flourish within the MAGA ranks.

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 3 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

The base = Al-Qaeda. That’s pretty much a direct translation. Republicans always going on about their “Base”…face it, they’re radicals. Extremists. From guns to religion to nationalism and even anti-vax. Just like the terrorist group they spent decades of war hating.

[–] foggy@lemmy.world 5 points 2 hours ago

Y'all Qaeda.

[–] kikutwo@lemmy.world 43 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

They already have the White House.

[–] hddsx@lemmy.ca 9 points 5 hours ago

So new name will be All Tour Base Are Belong To Us?

[–] Chozo@fedia.io 21 points 5 hours ago

I hope they all suffocate in house fires.

[–] Yawweee877h444@lemmy.world 15 points 5 hours ago

This shit is so fucking stupid. I see very little difference from a bunch of primates throwing and eating their own shit. These animals belong in cages.

[–] limer@lemmy.dbzer0.com 15 points 6 hours ago (1 children)
[–] Atelopus-zeteki@fedia.io 8 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

Can we dose them with Ecstasy while they are all gathered together? Or should we nuke them from space? I'm really torn on this one.

[–] Daggity@lemm.ee 3 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Call ice on them. Although they’ll probably get the call while they’re already there.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 2 points 17 minutes ago

Tell one group of nazis that the other group is not idealogically pure.

[–] Deflated0ne@lemmy.world 5 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Kinetic Bombardment from space. Tow in a small asteroid. Drop it on them.

[–] Rocketpoweredgorilla@lemmy.ca 4 points 4 hours ago

One member of meal team six should suffice... if you can hoist him high enough he doesn't just leave a dent in the road.

SHARPs and Antifa put the tall cans in the air, let me see ‘em.
