My out of pocket is much cheaper at home than stateside for my meds. With benefits, it’s $12cad vs $25usd. I think out of pocket is like $40 vs $120 or something ridiculous.
U.S. patients will absolutely pay the price. The importers of said products consume the tariff costs and pass them along to the consumers.

Jesus why not start tariffing Indian made drugs while you're at it? Let's be the stupidest versions of ourselves.
Were over 10% of US population and we happen to sell 1% of their drugs. We're about 1% of developed world too, but our proximity would be normal to contribute more. Point is, if there is nothing unfair about the arrangement/supply why turn everything upside down. I'm sure US companies rely on Canadian market too.
