Woah, looks like a post from a few years ago must have gotten stuck behind a file cabinet!
Initially they banned chapotraphouse for no reason then when latestagecapitalism got taken over by conservatives it was officially dead for me.
they cover it up well, you don't notice from within their ecosystem
This one came out of the blue. the API blackout had notice and time to organize. People were talking about reddit alternatives and protesting for weeks before the API blackout happened

Every scandal is a cut where some people bleed over.
When people come here from reddit remember to highlight them on decentralization and open source software. People need to understand why certain platforms and services are better not simply switch side.

Most have come back, /drugs for example. The admins said its a glitch, I can't beleive that and glad I'm here. I have no doubt reddit will get on its knees in the name of $$$$$$.
I missed reddit simply because I can't find the fucking porn on Lemmy (though I realize now that it might be because I"m on lemm.ee)

100% done with reddit, the place is now propaganda central and censorship is out of control.
Left during the API fiasco, never looked back. Happier for it.
99% same but there's some subs Lemmy hasn't been able to replace for me yet. like cptsdmemes. in general mental health communities are very lacking on here, if not completely absent

They won't care that he has been luigied, they will care about their shytocurrency.
