I wouldn't worry about it given that Rust has issues binding to C++.

[–] jaybone@lemmy.world 14 points 4 days ago (1 children)

We all have issues with C++

[–] Busyvar@jlai.lu 9 points 4 days ago

Yeah, many leaks to expect on this boat.

Their eye doctor's office is called "See Sharp."

[–] jaybone@lemmy.world 10 points 4 days ago

Their fishing boat is called Dot Net.

[–] Overshoot2648@lemm.ee 26 points 4 days ago

Wait till it Rusts!

compiler better be good.

also running might be kinda hard.

I'd prefer memory safety, any kind of overflow sounds bad for production.

That's what the bucket is for.

I have a feeling nobody else at the yacht club got anywhere close to understanding the joke.

[–] tourist@lemmy.world 14 points 4 days ago

And at a yacht club, I feel like anyone who does get it, is not going to be someone who can't make a lifelong pacifist throw their first punch.

Ah, C++! I prefer my engineers use GoogleScript at the company I bought out. I feel like Google is the safest bet. Like, one day Apple and Microsoft might stop updating C++, where now everything is Blockchain and AI based, Google will keep its market share and keep supporting g GoogleScript..

(He bought a Java Enterprise Consulting company.)

There's so many friggin nerds sailing that it's ridiculous. Who else makes so much so as to indulge in such a wildly expensive hobby?

Never mind the ultra rich nerdy boat names (Bayseienne, Steve Job's weird thing, the sensible and utilitarian Google barge with all the toys, and Oracle guy's toys, and on and on), there's soooooo many more minor nerd boats with names like "Dream SQL" and etc.

Good for Perl diving, I guess.

Next time tell the AI to use comic sans.

[–] stingpie@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

How can you tell this is AI? I don't see any of the characteristic AI probabilistic blurs, and the reflections & caustics seem right.

[–] jaybone@lemmy.world -1 points 4 days ago

I’m just guessing. I could be wrong.

[–] angrystego@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago

Agree - comic sans would be chef's kiss. (Btw I think this is a great AI usecase.)

Hope there's a sea minus minus somewhere for whomever that was.

[–] Jumuta@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 days ago

and a holy sea

Get rid of the sea word

[–] lemonSqueezy@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago

That's the second boat, the first one is called plus plus sea.

[–] milicent_bystandr@lemm.ee 1 points 4 days ago

That's what you get when you add objects to the sea!
